Archana Chandhoke was born on 2nd July 1982,(Age: 41 years). She was born in Chennai, India. She is an Actress, a Radio Jockey, TV host and this has made her one of the most well-known faces of the Tamil Media and TV industry. She is currently living at Appswamy’s Cerus, Chennai, India with her husband, daughter, and parents.

Archana Chandhoke is married to Vineet Muthukrishnan. Vineet, who happened to be the brother of one of her school friends, proposed to Archana on their third meeting. Despite being separated by distance, their love grew stronger through exchanging letters over time.

Archana Chandhoke TV Career

Archana Chandhoke started her career as a newsreader for Jaya TV‘s English News in September 1999, while still studying in college. Later, she moved to Sun TV where she hosted popular shows like Ilamai Pudhumai and Comedy Time.

However, in May 2007, she decided to prioritize her family commitments and left Sun TV. After a hiatus of one year, she joined Star Vijay in 2008 and hosted the show Namma Veetu Kalyanam till 2014. She was then approached by Zee Tamil in September 2015 to host their show Athirshta Lakshmi.

The next year, Archana Chandhoke was appointed as a judge for the comedy program Junior Super Star, alongside K. Bhagyaraj and Khushbu.

In 2020, Archana Chandhoke joined Bigg Boss as a wildcard contestant but faced criticism from the audience for her behavior on the show. However, after her stint on the show, she reunited with Star Vijay and is currently hosting several reality shows and special episodes such as Old is Gold, Black and White, Kadhale Kadhale, Namma veetu kalyanam Snehan, Parivattam and Kanikka Special, Samsaram athu Minsaram, Singappene, Pattikada Pattanama, Namma veetu thiruvizha, Udanpirappe(Paasa Malargal), Sabash Sariyana Potti, and Thai illamal Naanillai.

Archana Chandhoke has also made her mark in the Tamil film industry as an actress, mostly portraying comedic characters. Her first appearance in a movie was in the 2015 action film “En Vazhi Thani Vazhi,” which was produced and starred by businessman R.K.

At a movie’s audio release function, Archana was faced with an on-stage confrontation from actor Radharavi who believed that she had not shown him enough respect. Despite this, R. K. went on to cast her in a small role in his next film, Vaigai Express (2017).

She played a cheating wife in Yenda Thalaiyila Yenna Vekkala (2018) opposite Yogi Babu, and appeared in a supporting role alongside her daughter Zaara in Doctor (2021). Archana Chandhoke, announced on Instagram on July 10, 2021, that she was undergoing skull surgery at a private hospital in Chennai. She shared that her cerebrospinal fluid has been leaking through a hole in her skull and that she needed reconstruction surgery. Archana also joked that this proves that she has a brain.

She posted a couple of photos from the hospital and mentioned that she is likely to be discharged after a week. She added that her daughter, Zaara, would update her fans about her well-being.
