He has worked with various TV channels such as Jaya TV, NDTV, CNBC TV-18, and Vijay TV. He is popularly known for his role as an anchor in the TV series Neeya Naana which started in 2006.

In addition to his work on television, Gopinath has also served as a radio jockey for Radio City and hosted their breakfast shows. He is a prolific author, having written five books on various topics. His debut book, “Theruvellam Devathaigal,” is a collection of poems that was published in 2007. His second book, “Please indha Puthagathai vaangatheenga,” remains a popular read, with over 4 lakh copies sold. Gopinath’s other literary works include “Neeyum Naanum,” “Ner Ner Thema,” and “Nimirnthu Nil.”
