Jagan and Vaanmathi decided to get married even though Vaanmathi’s parents were against their relationship. They initially planned to elope, but Jagan’s co-star Suriya advised him against it based on his own experience with convincing his in-laws to accept him.

Suriya asked his father, Sivakumar, to speak with Vaanmathi’s parents and convince them to accept Jagan as their son-in-law. Eventually, Sivakumar and his wife stood in place of Jagan’s parents during their wedding ceremony and blessed the couple.

Jagan made his debut in the year 2005 when he appeared in a rom-com Kanda Naal Mudhal and went on to appear in films such as Vallavan, Ponniyin Selvan 2, Oram Po and Pori, Idhaya Thirudan, Satham Podathey. His breakthrough came with the 2009 movie Ayan where he played a small-time smuggler.

On Vijay TV, Jagan hosted a show called Kadavul Paadhi Mirugam Paadhi, The show involved reviewing movies and Jagan was known for his candid criticism. Actor Jagan Accident

Numerous online reports recently claimed that Actor Jagan was involved in a fatal accident near Vandavasi while driving under the influence of alcohol.

However, during a conversation with Behindwoods, Jagan refuted the allegations and clarified that the reports were entirely baseless. He vehemently denied being drunk at the time of the accident and claimed that he was not even driving the car.
Jagan further explained, “I never drive myself, and I always have a designated driver.

On the day of the accident, my driver stopped the car on the highway near Vandavasi to use the restroom. While we were waiting inside the vehicle, a drunk driver crashed into us. I immediately called for an ambulance and tried to help the other driver. Unfortunately, I later learned that he had passed away. However, some reports have falsely accused me of being the cause of the accident, which is entirely untrue.”
