Aditi Tiwari, a student of Electronics and Communication at NIT Patna, got a record-breaking job offer.

Usually in India, students from prestigious institutes like IITs and IIMs get high paying jobs after they complete their education, and their packages often make headlines. However, in 2022, NIT Patna made news as it recorded the highest-ever package of Rs 1.6 crores in the placements that year.

Aditi Tiwari, a final year Electronics and Communication student, created a record by getting a job offer worth Rs 1.6 crore. Her father works at Tata Steel, and her mother is a government school teacher. The package Aditi received is historic, even more than what students from IITs and IIMs receive. Facebook hired Aditi as a front-end engineer.

In 2022, NIT Patna had 110% overall placements, setting a new record. Before Aditi Tiwari’s historic package, the highest package received by a student at NIT Patna was around Rs 50-60 lakhs.
