Anjali Singh is part of a select group of women business leaders who wield significant influence in the Indian Auto Sector. As the Chairperson of the Anand Group, a company with a revenue of over $1.5 billion (Rs 12,000 crore), Anjali stands alongside renowned figures like Mallika Srinivasan, the ‘Tractor Queen’ and CEO of TAFE, Lakshmi Venu, the MD of Sundaram Clayton, and Sulajja Firodia Motwani from the Kinetic Group.

Anjali Singh is recognized as a versatile individual in business circles, excelling in various domains. Alongside her role as a business leader, she is also an accomplished artist and author. Having pursued her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in fine arts in London, she furthered her education in Business Management before returning to India and joining the Anand Group in 2005.

At the age of 33, Anjali Singh took on the role of Executive Chairperson of the Anand Group, founded by her father Deep C Anand. She also serves as the head of Gabriel India, the group’s publicly listed auto parts manufacturer with a market capitalization of Rs 2,571 crore. Anjali leads the group’s hospitality arm, Sujan, which operates properties in Ranthambhore, Jaisalmer, Jawai Bandh in India, and in Kenya. Under her leadership, the Anand Group encompasses over 20 companies and 13 joint ventures, establishing itself as a leader in the aftermarket segment after 60 years of operation.

Anjali Singh’s passion for conservation is evident through her work as an author. She co-authored the book “Ranthambhore – The Tiger’s Realm” with her husband Jaisal Singh and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, published in 2011. In 2016, she also co-authored “Jawai – Land of the Leopard”. Anjali Singh’s notable achievements have led to her recognition, with Kotak Wealth Hurun valuing her net worth at Rs 3,450 crore in their Leading Wealthy Women 2020 report.
