Kafi, an acid attack survivor and the daughter of a peon has become a shining inspiration for numerous girls across the country. Her remarkable achievement of securing 95.02 percent marks in the CBSE Class 10 exams has placed her at the top of her school. Despite the challenges she has faced, Kafi’s determination and perseverance have led her to this outstanding accomplishment. Her father, who works as a peon in the secretariat, must be incredibly proud of her remarkable success.
At the tender age of 3, Kafi endured a horrifying incident when her neighbors, driven by jealousy, subjected her to an acid attack, resulting in severe burns to her entire face. Following the traumatic incident, she spent six years in the hospital, during which she tragically lost her eyesight. However, Kafi’s indomitable spirit and determination to overcome obstacles led her to pursue her studies using the Braille script. Remarkably, she has excelled in her academic endeavors, displaying exceptional reading skills. This is evidenced by her remarkable achievement of securing 95.02 percent marks in the Class 10 exams. Kafi’s resilience and academic accomplishments serve as an inspiration to others, demonstrating that adversity can be overcome with courage and perseverance.
In an interview with ANI, Kafi expressed her aspirations of becoming an IAS officer and making her parents proud. Her passion for the subject of Geography shines through as she discusses her academic journey. Kafi is immensely grateful for the unwavering support of her parents, attributing her success to their constant encouragement. Additionally, she acknowledges the guidance provided by her teachers, whose expertise has played a pivotal role in her achievements. Kafi also credits online resources, particularly YouTube and the internet, for aiding her in exam preparation. Her determination, combined with the support of her loved ones and the wealth of knowledge available to her, has propelled her towards her goals.
