He won several races before this in the A1GP, British F3, Nissan World Series, AutoGP, Formula Asia, British Formula Ford, and Opel. He won the Formula Asia Championship as well as the British Formula Ford Winter Series. In 2005, he made his Formula One debut. For two years, he served as the Williams team’s test driver. Additionally, he ran in the NASCAR truck series.

He was born in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He attended Stanes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School for his education. His father was a racer himself; he took first place seven times in the South India Rally. He continued to compete as a boy for several teams all around the world. After he stopped racing, he started his own business.

TVS bought a 48 percent share in his business in 2022. They gave them 85.4 crore rupees. At this point, the firm is valued at Rs 178 crore. 

Two-wheelers are offered by DriveX on a subscription basis. They market and sell two-wheelers as well. 

In 2020–2021, the firm had a Rs 47.98 lakh revenue. Throughout the transactions, the business grew to five new cities. Additionally, the business distributes, trades, and sells used motorcycles and scooters.

The company operates primarily online. The Emeritus chairman and managing director of TVS Motor Company is Venu Srinivasan. He is one of India’s wealthiest people. The business operates one factory in Indonesia and three in India. The corporation generates billions in sales.

The managing director of the business is Sudarshan Venu, while Lakshmi Venu serves as a board director. He is a direct descendant of TV Sundaram Iyengar, who founded the organization in 1911.  In 2020, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan.
