Sagar Gupta’s company earned an impressive Rs 600 crore in the fiscal year 2022-23.

Sagar Gupta accomplished a remarkable feat by starting a successful business with his father shortly after completing his B.Com from Delhi University. Despite his aspirations of becoming a Chartered Accountant, his father CP Gupta decided to shift from semiconductor trading to launching a manufacturing unit for LED televisions in 2017, marking a major change in their business.

Sagar’s interest was in the manufacturing sector, and when his father initiated the company’s shift towards this field, it presented a lucrative opportunity for him. In 2019, they officially launched their company in Noida.

Establishing the company was a challenging task, but having his father’s pre-existing contacts in the industry proved advantageous. They began manufacturing for well-known brands such as Samsung, Toshiba, and Sony, at a time when China dominated the LED manufacturing industry. Now, they are working towards strengthening the LED manufacturing sector in India.

Currently, the company produces LCD TVs, LED TVs, and high-end TVs for more than 100 companies, with sizes ranging from 24 to 60 inches. They manufacture over 100,000 televisions per month and have sold millions of units in just a few years.

In an earlier interview with Your Story, Sagar expressed his goal of reducing costs further in order to expand the company’s reach and deliver televisions to a global market.
