A girl from Madhya Pradesh is about to take her BA final year exam at the age of only 15.

Tanishka Sujit, an intelligent and hardworking student hailing from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, is all set to take her Bachelor of Arts (BA) final year exams at the young age of 15. Her dream is to pursue law and become the Chief Justice of the country.

The girl, who lost her father and grandfather to COVID-19 in 2020, recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bhopal. She shared how he encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming Chief Justice of India.

Sujit is a student at Devi Ahilya University in Indore. She informed PTI on Monday that she will take her final year exams for BA (Psychology) from April 19 to 28. She passed Class 12 at the age of 13, after scoring first-division marks in Class 10.

Rekha Acharya, who is the Head of the Department of Social Science Studies at Devi Ahilya University, stated that Tanishka Sujit was admitted to the first year of BA (Psychology) at the young age of 13, after performing exceptionally well in the university’s entrance test for her special case.

Sujit had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Bhopal for the Combined Commanders’ Conference on April 1. She had a 15-minute long meeting with the PM and expressed her desire to study law in the US after completing her BA exams. She also shared her dream of becoming the Chief Justice of India someday.

Sujit had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Bhopal for the Combined Commanders’ Conference on April 1. “On hearing about my aim, the prime minister advised me to go to the Supreme Court and watch the arguments of lawyers there as it would motivate me to achieve my goal. Meeting the prime minister was a dream come true for me,” she said.

Anubha, the mother of Tanishka Sujit, shared that they lost both her husband and father-in-law to COVID-19 last year. Despite this, she did not give up and instead focused on supporting her daughter’s academic pursuits.

She said, “When I lost two family members, I felt lost. But after two-three months, I decided to take care of my daughter’s studies for her future and fought for it.”
