Tarun Sharma, a businessman from Rajasthan, had a stroke of luck last week when he won a whopping Rs 2 crore in an online game. Despite only having completed his education up to Class 10, he is an entrepreneur involved in trading and cutting marble, which he started with his brother in the previous year. He has a keen interest in cricket and his passion for the sport earned him a life-changing amount of money.

Two years ago, he created a fantasy team and found out that someone living close to his village had won Rs 1 crore.

For the past two years, he had been participating in fantasy sports. In his village, about 15-20 people played the fantasy league. To create a team, they pooled in Rs 45. He created nine teams and continued playing matches.

On Saturday, he got a notification on his phone that he had earned Rs 2 crore by scoring 991 points and being at the top of the league. He found the amount in his wallet and was elated. Soon, his friends started calling to congratulate him.

He had created nine teams on the day of the match. His score kept increasing by the 17th over. He couldn’t believe his luck when he found out that he had secured the first position.

The family has not yet decided how to spend the money, according to Dainik Bhaskar.

Pushpa, his wife, told the newspaper that at first, she thought it was a joke. She used to disapprove of his gaming habits, but now she is happy that her husband has won.

His brother, who used to reprimand him for playing mobile games, could not believe that he had won.

They stated that they would use the money to invest in their business.
