Vandana Lal holds the position of Executive Director at Dr Lal PathLabs. The company was established in 1949 by the late SK Lal, who was a Junior Doctor in the British Army. After his service, he went to Pune to study at the Armed Forces Medical College.

She has been leading the Clinical Research Services department since 2007 and also heads the Research & Development wing of the company. As the Executive Director since 1995, Vandana Lal is responsible for driving the expansion activities of the laboratory, as well as planning and executing new projects for Dr Lal PathLabs.
