Salaar Release Date: Prabhas, the lead actor of the upcoming action thriller movie ‘Salaar’, is making a comeback after his previous movies ‘Shaoo’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’ failed to perform well on the big screen. Directed by Prashanth Neel, known for the KGF fame. Along with Prabhas, the movie will feature a star-studded cast including Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy, Easwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

The movie has been shot across various international locations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, as per media reports. Initially, the movie was planned to release in April 2022, but due to the unforeseen outbreak of the novel Coronavirus pandemic, the production was unexpectedly prolonged. The makers of the movie have announced that the ‘Era of Salaar is set to begin.’

Salaar Story Line

Although the storyline of the upcoming movie Salaar has been kept a secret by the production team, some leaks suggest that the movie is set in the late 19th century and will follow the journey of two characters played by Prabhas, one of them being an ATS soldier and the other a gangster involved in a larger conspiracy that may affect the country.

Two characters who were raised without parents took different paths in life. Salaar Initial Release

Principal photography for the highly-anticipated film, Salaar, began on January 29, 2021, near the city of Godavarikhani, Telangana, with the first schedule wrapping up by February 2021. The second schedule of the film started in Hyderabad in August 2021. The theatrical release of Salaar, which was originally planned for April 14, 2022, was postponed due to production setbacks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
