Akhilesh Anand (अखिलेश आनंद) is one of India’s top Journalists working with ABP News. He was born on 18th April (39 Years Old) in Mokama, Bihar, India. 

Akhilesh Completed his schooling and attended one of the reputed colleges in Delhi, Hindu College. There he completed his Master of Arts in Mass communication, and right after completing the degree, he started his journey in Journalism.

Akhilesh Anand is a very experienced journalist who has worked in the field for many years. He is now one of India’s most popular news anchors because of his extensive knowledge and skills.

Before becoming a news anchor, he was a writer for Outlook Magazine, Navbharat Times, Hindustan Times, and Dainik Jagran, where Akhilesh was a freelance journalist. The following year he started working as a correspondent with BAG Films (September 2005) and Media Ltd, where he stayed associated for three years.

2008 was a year for Akhilesh as he kickstarted his career as a News anchor with News24, where he gained experience for two years for the same before moving on to work with Zee News in 2010.

However, Akhilesh’s destiny had different plans for him, so after a two-year association with Zee News, he returned to work with News24 in 2012 and stayed there for four years this time before joining ABP News in 2016.

Anand currently works with ABP News as a news anchor and hosts the PrimeTime show ‘Ghanti Bajao.’ 

He was also awarded the Gulshan Kumar Award of Excellence in 2019 for his excellent work as a news anchor.

Anand had to hide himself in the car to protect himself from stone-pelting, due to which his car faced damages.
