Pattern and Total Marks For The SBI CBO Exam:

The exam is conducted in online mode and the following sections:

1. Written test:

There are no negative marks in this section.

2. Objective Test- This is of 100 marks, 120 questions from the following sections:

  • English: It has 30 questions of 30 marks each for 30 minutes duration.
  • Banking knowledge: It has 40 questions of 40 marks each for 40 minutes duration.
  • General awareness: It has 30 questions of 30 marks each for 30 minutes duration.
  • Computer Aptitude: It has 20 questions of 20 marks each for 20 minutes duration.
  1. Descriptive Test- There are 2 questions,i.e. one is an essay and the other is a letter, in this section of a total of 50 marks.
  2. Screening test:

In this second stage, the committee decides who will be chosen for further process if their job profile matches the scale 1 Generalist officer in SBI. In case it doesn’t, then the application is rejected by the screening committee.

iii. Interview

This is the final round of the SBI CBO exam in which candidates need to secure the SBI CBO Cut off marks set by the banking organization to be chosen for the job. Those belonging to different categories such as EWS or IBC have to submit their certificates to be eligible for this phase.

Marks in the written test, as well as interviews, are considered for final selection. The weightage of the two is in the ratio of 75:25
