Akriti Chopra helped start Zomato, an online food delivery service in India. She became a co-founder in June 2021. Akriti joined Zomato in 2011 as a finance manager for its operations.

Akriti Chopra’s career

Before joining Zomato, Akriti Chopra worked as an articled assistant at PWC in 2008. She worked hard for nearly ten years and eventually became a co-founder of Zomato. The company’s current market cap is Rs 45,590 crore. She was promoted to co-founder while working as Zomato’s Vice-President of Finance and Operations.

Akriti Chopra’s education

Akriti Chopra was born in 1988 and currently lives in Gurgaon. She completed her schooling in Delhi at DPS, RK Puram and pursued her graduation from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi.

Zomato’s IPO

Zomato went public in 2021, and Akriti Chopra’s ESOPs were worth Rs 149 crore. It’s unclear if she sold them. Reports say she had some of the most valuable shares among employees.

Akriti Chopra earned a yearly salary of Rs 1.63 crore in 2021. She is married to Albinder Dhindsa, the founder of Blinkit, which was bought by Zomato.
