With the recent announcement of the 2023 CBSE board exam results, Sanjana Bhat has emerged as one of the top achievers, securing a flawless 100 percent score. Hailing from Tamil Nadu, she attained a remarkable feat by scoring a perfect 500/500 mark in her Class 10 board exams.

Sanjana aspires to further enhance her performance and successfully clear the entrance examination for one of India’s most prestigious institutes within the next few years. Despite coming from a medical background, she has chosen to pursue technical education for her future endeavors.

This year, CBSE has made the decision not to release a list of toppers. The board has taken this step in order to discourage unhealthy competition among students. However, CBSE will be awarding merit certificates to the top 0.1 percent of students who have achieved the highest marks in their respective subjects. This approach aims to promote a more holistic and inclusive evaluation system.

Sanjana, from Chennai, accomplished a remarkable feat by achieving a perfect 100 percent score in all her subjects including English, Maths, Social Science, Science, and Sanskrit. Her consistent excellence as a topper traces back to her earlier years at school, as revealed by her mother, who is a surgeon, in recent interviews. Sanjana had anticipated scoring around 490 marks, making the perfect score a delightful and unexpected surprise.

Hailing from Chennai’s Nungambakkam area, the aspiring engineering student is currently enrolled at the esteemed Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan school. In preparation for her board exams, she diligently completes every test and assignment provided by the school. She has emphasized the significant assistance offered by the pre-board examinations in refining her skills and knowledge.

Sanjana is determined to excel in the fiercely competitive Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) and secure admission to one of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) campuses scattered throughout the country. Despite the popular trend of relocating to Kota, Rajasthan, or other coaching hubs for JEE preparation, Sanjana has decided to pursue her studies from the comfort of her home in Chennai. Her favorite subjects, physics, chemistry, and maths, will be the focal point of her dedicated preparation for the exam.
