Shefali Goradia, an American lawyer who specialized in International Taxation, took over as the Chairperson of Deloitte India on April 1, succeeding Atul Dhawan whose term had come to an end. Born on April 22, 1968, in Mumbai, Shefali Goradia is the first woman to hold the position of Chairperson at a ‘Big Four’ company in India.

Shefali Goradia completed her education at the University of Bombay and Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics. She holds the distinction of being the first woman chairperson of the Big Four firms in India.

Shefali Goradia became a part of Deloitte in September 2017.
